Adversity always presents opportunities for introspection

We always think of prosperity. We denounce adversity because adversity brings miseries and sufferings. None of us wants to face adversity in the walk of life. It eats away the charm of our life. When a man fights against the odds of life in ultimate adversity untiringly he gets unnerved and frustrated because of not having any glimpse to come out from the grip of adversity. He accepts his adversity as his misfortune and usually gives in to destiny, an invisible element. Gradually life turns gloomy and futile to him. He tries his best to get the favour of destiny. But the more the favour is delayed, the more his despondence grows up to apex. He loses his spirit to fight for life to shape up in right fervour. He becomes the frustrated victim of charmless life.

The success of a man’s life is primarily dependent on the best identification of himself from different prospective directions. When demand of success is a qualified factor in everyone’s life it is a very common notion that there is no room for adversity in a life because it spoils the essence of life. A man running in abject adversity can’t find any space to think for any betterment – it is the very common characteristic to defend when we go for hairsplitting analysis of different reasons of not having the ability to touch the rope of success. But it is an irony that we are not fundamentally interested to see the other side of the adversity where certain positivity does very much exist.

Many of us may cast a transverse look while qualifying the inspiring properties of adversity. They defend so saying that adversity does never subscribe anything better because it is the fountain mouth of miseries and sufferings. We all want to bypass miseries and sufferings. Naturally, question of adversity should be thrown away in the litter-bin. Prosperity is the last and final mission of a life.

But true creative thinkers of the philosophy of life set their stand point subject to adversity in life with a marked difference. Life is not a smooth stride where pitchforks and odds of life will remain passively absent. Every life is an untraveled path with so many sharp turns. Problems and dangers apprehensively wait at every turn and every one of those is completely different in character. While meeting the challenges of those problems and dangers in the run of life adversity is well anticipated to infringe our movement. Very few of us hold the tremendous willpower to combat the challenges of adversity, put up a strong fight against adversity in never-to-be-defeated spirit. Those who can do it effectively adversity kneels down before them in the days to come. Prosperity is the next milestone of adversity. It’s the realistic conclusion.

Introspection is the deserving quality of every successful man. But it is not an easy task to be self-known. Smooth sailing in life does not lend any such opportunity to be introspective. A man in adversity finds golden opportunities to see the different faces of life. Adversity steps up the visionary transparency. It subscribes us to know the real definition of life on the basis of reality. A man with an introspective look can easily point out the loopholes of his actions to transform the life in the light of truth and beauty. Introspection can easily trace out the hidden potential of any individual. Hidden potential of any individual being discovered once; it is very easy to capitalize that to come out from the clutches of adversity, so long appearing invincible.

Besides this; introspection solidifies our self-confidence and self-reliance. We can easily understand our potential and strength. As soon as we will be morally courageous with total strength of introspection there should be no question of fear in life. Once fear permanently goes in isolation in a life adversity and prosperity stand as the two imposters. Adversity leads a life to go beyond the known format and life beyond the traditional formula is the bliss of sterling achievement. There is no ultimate in life and it is the lesson of adversity. So, we should never discard adversity in life because it makes us known the beauty of life.                              

A debate not to be avoided

Age is advancing. Patience is receding as the rule of nature. Irritation out of talking for talking sake is not an uncommon phenomenon. It is time to trace out the flaws and shortcomings with subsequent remedies if possible. Mind wants to live in tranquility. It is prudent to avoid uncalled for debate what spoils mental easiness. But if the debate is called for and if it wants to divert the spirit of the discussion there stands no other option but to take part in the debate with no passiveness. When logic and argument is attacked none can sit as passive spectator and if it happens at all it will be taken as the act of an escapist. To behave like an escapist is equivalent to defeat or death. So we are often involved in debate out of compulsion.

A debate is compulsory in question of principle and if that is associated organizational point of view especially in the Communist Party. The philosophy of the Communist Party is based on dialectics. Any policy matter in the Communist Party should never be unchallenged or uncontested because it contradicts the basic principle of the party organization. Thesis, Antithesis and Synthesis are the mother principle of the living Communist Party. Mere acceptance without raising any question, obviously logic bounding, to a policy matter inside the party organization is the replica of stagnancy and it is the inevitability of a Communist Party Organization confirmedly leading to non-functioning or better be termed extinction.

What is today’s debate inside the Communist Party Organization? Needless to mention, all the identified Communist Parties in India are facing a tremendous setback. It is very much evident in West Bengal. Even a few years back the Communist Parties in West Bengal, despite their differences in line of action, had a strong footing if Assembly Election results are taken into consideration as the yard stick to measure. Mass movements in different frontal organizations had been the basic recipe of the popularity of the Communist party among the toiling mass, peasantry class and middle class elements. A Communist Party remains alive on movements. If bureaucratic attitude is developed inside a Communist Party the down of the party is the time factor. Bureaucracy begets so many vices and those poison the mass base from the root where non-trustworthiness is the major factor to count with ultimate priority. Many of us are bewildered with the landslide of the Communist Party in West Bengal. Even leading leaderships of the Communist Parties are trying to form divertive opinions. This is nothing but the prevarication of truth with deliberate concealment. Conscious and sensible persons are expressing their strong reservations to the explanations of the cause of the downfall. The leadership should go for hairsplitting analysis the causes of the downfall of the Communist Party in West Bengal as well as in India. What is the cause of huge erosion we must have a realistic analysis. There should no camouflaging practice.

Crisis of Communist Party is not a new phenomenon all over the world. So many vivid instances are there. Imperialistic forces are very much proactive and aspire to decimalize the foundation of the Communist Party as a mission of their one point agenda. They want the total destruction of all the Communist Parties now in existence as a policy matter. A constant fight is going on between imperialism and communism or socialism. After the debacle of the Communist Party in the Soviet Russia it is now the era of the “Unipolar World.” The U.S. Imperialism has brought down the ruthless attack on third world countries in order to plunder the natural resources, mineral resources and human resources. The chemistry of the attack of imperialism is now enough powerful not to be contested or challenged with full vigour. Under this condition the leadership, activists and followers of the Communist Parties should be enough careful and meticulous in every step with all pragmatic calculations and speculations.

Influence of Communism to expand in India is an untraveled path because there is no precedence of success of Communism in any country amidst so many cultural differences, racial discrimination, and religious disparities like India. Communist Party in India will develop on trial and error practice. That is why misconceptions are appearing time and again. Farsightedness on realistic analysis of the continuous happenings is the basic characteristic of the front-liners of the Communist Party. In case of any analysis on the wrong foot out of misconception policy matter of the Communist Party suffers a tremendous setback. That is taking place in India leaving common people in the lurch.

Communist Party is a mass-base party. It acts as a forum. None has the liberty to take any unilateral decision to be carried out by the activists of the party. Thesis, Antithesis and then Synthesis are the fundamental basis of the Communist Party in case of formulation of policy matter and the principle of Democratic Centralization is very much followed there. But the question on execution of the principles of Democratic Centralization stands before a big question mark. We should keep it into mind that it can never function without a liberalized outlook. I will rely upon the philosophy of communism and my liberalized look will be strapped with the rope of narrowness and meanness – it is a greater contradiction and moral prostitution too. There is no room for narrowness in the Communist Party. “I must have to remain at the epicenter of power’ – it is the net outcome of the Left Front in power for 34 years in West Bengal. Crisis initiates from this particular point. It is an incurable disease and it eats away the moral values and ethical senses of any individual up to the end level. It develops a nefarious tendency to impeach others at any cost to protect the chair of any individual well fortified. If the dream spins round occupancy of chair moral values of communism receives a premature death. Just at this moment individualism inside the party begins and breaks out in an epidemic form. Many define it as inner party struggle. But they are blatant liar. They try to confuse common people with due deliberation. They should be classified as the enemy of civilization, enemy of human understanding. They want to define communism in behalf of their vested interest.

There is no need of any rooftop view. All of us who rely upon of communism as the only option of total emancipation of the depressed class should take to streets as the mandatory option with complete elimination of the vested and reactionary forces inside the party. Let the reactionary forces understand that the communist party is not the platform to fulfill the narrow interest of any individual or any group in particular. Activists of the Communist Party should make it very clear with all clarity that they should never mortgage their good senses to any biased opinion. There is no room for bias principle in communism. It is a continuous flow with robust optimism. Nihilists and power hankers must be discarded without any further attempt of their rectification. Those who want to enfeeble communism residing inside the Communist Party must be expelled from the party. The party will survive then. To appease all is to appease none. Sometimes to take “Hard Decisions” is very much compulsory. It stands as the inevitable part within the organization. It is an admitted fact that the present morally corrupt party activists had a greater contribution for the Communist Party a day. We pay a great tribute for their contribution. But if their present role confirms detrimental to the organization the Communist must be get rid of them in no delay.

Question of compromise does not arise in any case because compromising attitude begets destruction. Indecision is no good at all. The organization may suffer for a transitory period for the landslide inside the party. But that is the best option to keep the Communist Party Organization alive with all its flavour. It is the true inner party struggle to decimalize the evil forces inside the party. Let the organization be small in volume; but that is good enough to save the Communist Party Organization. Communism is a flowing stream with swift current. There is no end of Communism because exploitations are coming down on us in dreadful way. Naturally conception of ifs and buts should not be indulged in any way.
