Life is coming to an end

The sun is going to set soon. The western sky resembles an elegant canvas depicting interplay of different mind-blowing colours as the ultimate pleasance of life. It appears that a painter is very busy with his brush and colours drawing the picture in exquisite loveliness. Twilight is ready to greet the evening and then the darkest night. Day is coming to an end with the fastest speed. Black blanket will cover the entire horizon. Only twinkling stars in the distant sky will remain alive with a distinct proclamation that life can never be extinguished so easily. The truth of life is always incandescent. The cycle of life is a continuous chain. It moves holding hand in hand. This bonding is eternal. The structural composition of the bonding may change with changing situation, but it can never be collapses like a house of cards. “The king is dead, long live the king”. This philosophy is very much appropriate in case of human life raising no dispute as such. A life may be suspended in the race of life. It is immediately replaced as the rule of nature.

It is convincingly approved that life can never be a closed chapter. Life is an Encyclopedia Britannica of changing colours and complexion. Life is a flowing stream with rippling waves. The rhythm of life is to be felt and to be known amidst struggles. I am now on the verge of getting the lamp of my life may be extinguished at any moment. I don’t have any frustration in my feelings. I must have to keep on singing the songs of life so long I am alive. Otherwise it will be a treachery to life and this breach of trust is unpardonable.

I have spoken many persons in the run of life. They belong to different sectors of society. Most of them hold different opinions to my placement. They advise me to come to the ground of reality giving up the sense of emotion. In maximum cases their given logic stands obtrusive to me. They plead that emotion has no specific coordinate in the ground of reality. They further add, never try to be an emotive fool. I become perplexed. How can a man survive giving up emotion completely? Blending of emotion in life is the essence of life. It is the real fragrance. How can I divert the direction of the philosophy of my life at the concluding part of my life? It is obviously a topic to be discussed impending adequate importance.

In the midst of raised up controversy between emotion and reality I don’t have any option but to un-envelope my conviction. All of us try to leave a distinctive mark in our life. We can never go beyond this thinking because it is our natural instinct. The sense of self-identity can never be overruled. We never want to be lost in the crowd of common people. We work silently to let others know our identity. Emotion is the basic spirit to do work selflessly. A man without emotion can never be propelled doing work for a greater cause. Sense of reality comes holding the hands of emotion. It is the strategic truth.

If we always think on the ground of reality the spirit to do work will be decimalized. It does not mean that question of reality is denied. So many ifs and buts comes on the way if we always priories the sense of reality. The feelings that the work can be done will never come up in our mind because those ifs and buts will pull back us to a zone where nihilism reigns unchallenged. Emotion fuels our spirit and reality guides us. Question of reality will never arise if the work remains yet to start. Reality gets fertile and saturated when emotion driven work is on the start.

A man can seldom survive without emotion. Imaginary wings never flutter if emotion is debarred of. Imagination out of emotion develops the blue print of work to be done. At the outset the diagram of thinking is to be matured. Then it appears the question of work to be executed and there emotion takes the leading part. Reality comes at the concluding part to finish the work smoothly and effectively. So reality can never move even an inch if emotion is ignored. Emotion is the basic ingredient and reality is the skill to complete the work. 

IF WINTER COMES CAN SPRING BE FAR BEHIND

Nature has its own beauty. Sometimes we become speechless when nature discloses its beauty in absolute elegance. But this beauty is not stationary. It changes as the season changes. Every season has its specific beauty as nature provides. Among the six seasons we usually underscore winter because nature withdraws its scenic beauty to a large extent during this season. The harshness of this season compels us to conclude thus. It is by far the dullest season if we talk of natural beauty as one point agenda of discussion.

It is the season of foliage. Trees usually shed their leaves during winter and green vegetation is suspended to a considerable extent. Besides this, chill cold northern wind turns the softness of nature rough. Morning sky is usually overcast with dense fog and the golden sun-shine of the morning is not permitted to come into earth with all its brightness. Apart from seasonal flowers nature during winter does not allow to bloom other flowers in spontaneity. Even the soil squeezes its wetness out of dry sunshine. That is why we always rank winter bottom seeded.

One thing we should remember that spring comes just after winter. Spring is beyond doubt top seeded so far as natural beauty is concerned. It is called “The Queen of Seasons”. The climate during this season becomes temperate and soothing to all for its pleasance and charm. Green tender leaves subscribe extraordinary beauty in nature. A gentle breeze blows across keeping the weather comfortably cool and accommodating. The sky is quite blue beckoning infinite blue. The sun shines in all its glory and brightness during spring. There is no threat of gloomy weather. The star-studded night sky is really elegant looking. A moonlit night during spring is really a treat to watch. Fascinating flowers like ‘PALASH, KRISHNACHURA, RADHACHURA, SHIMUL etc.” decorates nature with endless beauty. The fragrance of sweet flowers fills up the nature with no frugality. In a word spring is the season when nature dances catering all its beauty and we are all refreshed during this season. It is understood that spring after winter is a relief to us because the dullness of winter goes totally of. So, it is not practical to underscore winter because of its roughness.

If we scan human life amidst ups and downs it reveals that we should not be in any way dispirited or grieved in case of encountering adversity in the walk of like. Life never moves in a straight line. In the trunk-road of life there are many sharp “U” turns what invite problems and crises. Most of us get unnerved when we meet with sudden unexpected or unthoughtful danger during our life span. Sudden onslaught of problem or danger perplexes us and we fail to understand how to come out of the crisis. In case of invisibility of the way to come out we are at loss to understand what to do and our life becomes gloomy and meaningless. We leave the entire matter to destiny out of frustration. Then winter prevails in our life. The charm of life is entirely vanished.

But adversity and miseries are not the last word of life. Life extends in shadowiness. Permanent darkness in life is the misrepresentation and misleading too. Our natural instincts and spirits prompt us to fight to come out of the crisis. The situation tells us, there is darkness under the light. If we can get over beyond the boundary of darkness the presence of light is an inevitable part. In order to win in the struggle of life we should put up a strong fight against adversity of life and honestly speaking, it is the indomitable spirit to fight against odds of life changes the complexion of life in bright sunshine. Success in life is a compulsion on display of tremendous fight against the miseries in life.

In the cycle of season as spring comes after winter similarly success in life follows adversity of life. There is no sense of being unnerved at the plight of miseries in life. Life is a continuous struggle. There is no option other than struggle to see life smiling. It needs tough struggle, may be gripped with deep uncertainty, to come out of the crisis of life. So, we should never be afraid of dangers and problems. Problems come and disappear too. Only strength of mind is required to materialize that in the streak plate of reality.

According to him, those who argue that education and art are separate fields with individual identity and not at all interrelated go for prevarication of truth and it’s a novice interpretation. It is basically a false notion. To be very frank, education remains unsaturated if it is not mingled with art, especially what nature contributes to our life. Education remains disorganized if we don’t allow it to go deep into the field of art. We learn from books and it is called education. If we ignore art out of prejudiced thinking education is sure to be nosedived without subscribing any notable values to our life. The author has felt this truth by heart and he pleaded for it without raising dispute or confusion even the least. In the run of the essay he has expressed his strong reservation against the exclusion of art in the syllabus of school-education. This approach is detrimental to the advancement of education. This is called the orthodoxy out of limitations of knowledge. If we exempt art from our education system we will captivate our education in a cage without any scope to fly in the infinite horizon.

We all look for better education in all respect because paucity of knowledge derived from education brings narrowness and meanness in our mind. As soon as the demand of learning is increased education moves ahead to ultimate perfection through repeated queries. So; place of art in education is undeniable.

Apart from this culture has a distinctive role to build up a nation. Cultural heritage is the main stream of our life. It is nothing but the character of a nation. A nation is well identified when its cultural composition runs in excellence. Art personifies the basic trend of the culture of a nation. Development of art grows up holding the main theme of cultural heritage. If a student is not well conversant with the cultural heritage of his country his education will remain ever incomplete. Besides this, art ignites the soft and tender instincts of a student. A touchy mind is always appreciated because it develops commonness and togetherness.  Art does it very effectively without leaving any shortcoming. If education becomes classical castle of our knowledge art is the doors and windows of that castle. A castle without doors and windows can never be termed as beautiful.

We all seek rhythm in life. A life with no synchronic rhythm appears to us dull and insipid. The pleasure of life is dancing rhythm. Sense of art and culture beautifies our life in an exquisite loveliness. It never allows a life to plunge into stagnancy. Suppose a student is drawing something applying his creative concept. At once the world of that student is shifted somewhere else where absolute pleasure and joy exist very much. His mind is filled up in exquisite loveliness. When a student is connected with performing art he finds an inexplicable joy. The field of art is well associated with education because it is education what matures our concept. Rhythm of life helps us to know the real meaning of life. Those who want to enjoy the life in consonance with the spirit of life must have knowledge on art and culture. Those who say art has no function as such in development of education live in fool’s paradise. They overrule the truth behind education.

Sense of art appeases one’s mind bypassing restlessness. A mind gets disturbed while encountering the challenges of life. A disturbed min is the cause of many unwanted problems. It is well known that problems trap us in conspiracy to spoil our life. So’ disturbance in life should always be avoided. But it is next to absurdity because life is full of ups and downs. Trials and tribulations in a life is a very common. So we can’t avoid vexation in our life. Mind being vexed is the cause of all disturbances in life. How to appease mind is a process to be learnt by heart. Art gives a definite room to that process. It gives us a space to rethink with values of life. The contribution of art in our life is priceless.

Nature is our mother. She teaches us many notable things with great educative value. Sense of art does exist very much in nature with her all natural components and elements. So to have kith and kin intimacy with nature is very much mandatory in student’s life. The teaching what a student finds from nature and natural elements remains incandescent during the rest of his life. The application of those learning gives his enough room to fight in the struggle of life. Nature unveils the elements of art without any paucity every moment. We can never catch them if we don’t have the requisite sense of art. The education which is disassociated from art is no education at all. If education is called the development element art is obviously considered as the maintenance element. Keeping aside sense of art and culture with due deliberation; development in education remains always infertile. It can never germinate.

So.’ if we want to make a change in the form of education in the true sense of the term we must include art with education in order to comprehend the true values of education. We talk flat for the reorientation of education, but we ignore the inclusion of art or performing art in our syllabus of education. It is absolutely nonsense and a foolish act. If we want the true development of education we should let run education and art parallel. It is the call of time and need both. It is high time to think over the issue levying justified importance.                       .
