Happiness bottled, Happiness shackled

Who does not want to be happy? It is an axiomatic truth to enjoy happiness in any turn of life. Happiness leads our mind to an inexplicable joy. That a man struggles round the day and night is simply because of finding out the real flashing point of happiness. How does one explore this? It is the million dollar debate. Opinions and counter opinions run in the midst of crosscurrent of thinking. Naturally the solution varies from man to man according to their mental set up. Yet it can be concluded as the synopsis of the debate that true emancipation in immense bindings brings happiness in perfect conception. But perfect happiness is the resultant outcome of mental peace and mental solace.         

How does any individual achieve mental peace? What is the fountain mouth of mental peace? Is there any specific formula to achieve that? When these questions come up in our mind we get confused because of not finding out the actual blueprint of it. Mental unrest sometimes misleads us and it yields out of misconception. Happiness and peace is the replica of each other. But one thing is very much sure that mental happiness follows mental peace. In absence of mental peace happiness will be a remote chance to achieve.

Mental peace originates from endless love to all who are unhappy, have-nots, extreme suffering stricken, live at the mercy of open sky, terribly exploited because of the social system. Love is not easy to cater. A soft and passionate mind is the prime requisite of loving others selflessly. An unwept mind at the plight of others can never love. To love others is by far the best human quality. Sometimes it is experienced that someone is trying to love but can’t. As a way of explanation it can be reasoned that he does not love his own soul. A man who cannot love his own identity or dignity can never love others. The reason can be simplified as that he is unaware of the definition of true love. The more we can minimize the difference with others irrespective of cast or creed, the more we will be lovable to others. If anyone wants to love the downtrodden he must be a down to earth man. They should allow feeling with sound reasoning that he is my man. Then credibility is a vital factor in the field of love.

In present scenario happiness is changing its properties and those are not at all compatible to its basic philosophy. Happiness is, as if, a decaying moon now. Mental peace is running in paucity now. Love is now enveloped in abstractness and strangeness. Naturally happiness is losing its glorified beauty. Today’s society and social elements are not at all becoming to basic human characteristics. Known things are becoming unknown, known pictures are becoming unknown and we are becoming perplexed to trace out the compartment of true happiness within us. A searching look endorses that we are becoming human robot and our existence and feelings have been robotized. Happiness, love and peace are being regulated with a push in a distant remote. Now there arises the relevant question on the propriety of that remote.

Why do love, happiness and peace become a rare phenomenon in the present social scenario? Why does happiness become bottled? Why does it shackled? The answer of these questions can never be bypassed now in anyway. The situation is demanding a logical reply with absolute validity. There is no room for dispute that happiness is also becoming a commodity as a rule in the world of consumerism. There is obviously certain complexity in such contention. How can an abstract quality become a commodity? Happiness, love, peace etc are the abstract state of mind. These are to be perceived with emotion, felling and sensitiveness. These qualities do not have any commodity shape. Yet consumer world compels those to treat as commodity. This is a real irony.

As soon as happiness is accepted as commodity it is bottled up. The free movement of it gets restricted. The moment it is taken as commodity the flavour of it is reduced. The commodity world approves that we all buy happiness. It moves in terms of currency. In the present world the concept of true happiness in perfect emancipation is a counterfeit concept. It does not have any value in materialistic world. True happiness in emancipation is a philosophical term in biasness. Realistic world and materialistic world are set at poles apart. Reality has taught us to treat everything as commodity. There is n sense of switching over from this concept.

To be very frank, Rule of Profit is the fundamental mechanism of today’s society. In the world of consumerism everything is being assessed in terms of profit. It has taught us not to move even little bit if there is no sign of profit generation. It is strange to note that even human understanding and human values are not barred from commodity concept. Previously change was slow. But now that is in rocket speed. The layers of our thinking are being changed abruptly without taking into consideration that if human values are moral values are downgraded the society will suffer a lot. In a word happiness is shackled. The commodity world will decide how a man will be happy. It is the preaching of this world that better think of your happiness only. The thinking of collective interest is a baseless concept.

But own happiness can never be achieved if collective happiness is denied. Happiness always want free movement. The bottled happiness or shackled happiness is far from being reasoned. Basic sense of values is eternal. They are hardly changed with the changing world. So, happiness is only of mine is a wrong notion. None can captivate for his own only. Own happiness can only be gained when happiness for all especially of the depressed and downtrodden class in deep love is restored with full glamour. If it is interpreted otherwise peace, happiness and love will be permanently abolished from our living world.
