The word culture is originated from the Latin word ‘colero’. Colero means to cultivate. So culture interprets the things received through cultivation. When we talk of culture we come across different opinions from different angle of thinking. Bubbles of confusion and contradiction come upon our mind and we become perplexed to draw a conclusive concept on culture and tradition. It is not at all unusual because a definite formula is required to solve a particular sum and that very formula must have certain science and a logical explanation. It is not sweet to hear that in most of the cases we expose our biased views and thinking appearing not tenable while justifying those. Unjustified and illogical views never stand on their strong foothold.

To be very honest, culture is a very broad term and can hardly be explained in a single signatory line or excerpt. Culture includes all that man has acquired in his personal and social life. It incorporates our walks of life, our attitude and modes of behavior, our ethical senses and philosophies, our morals and mannerism, our traditions and customs, our virtues, our socio-economic and political status and so many others of human activities. As so many considerations are taken into account, culture is therefore not a static element with a definite shape. It is dynamic and is frequently changing with changing circumstances. It undergoes a constant change and those changes puzzle us to formulate a clear conception of culture to be accepted ages after ages as a compulsory mandate.

As the world is always changing with upcoming philosophies very much applicable to the changes in social science the coordinate of culture also shifts from one point to another in quick succession. Different inventions on science and the resultant developments in technology have made obviously certain significant changes in our traditional culture. We are undone but to accommodate these changes without ignoring the main stream of our culture. As for example, if original and traditional stream of culture is taken up as the thesis, the present trend of cultural form is obviously the antithesis as it is not compatible to the form of traditional culture in many ways. So we should chalk out a golden mean while talking of culture without any gross violation to the ethics of the traditional culture and this is called synthesis. Yet culture is an immaterial phenomenon, a matter of thoughts and meanings of habit.

Now we should discuss on the basic characteristics of culture to be learnt in an abbreviated form. Discussion may run pages after pages in many forms of debates but that may lead a reader to the breakeven point of patience. Culture is the capacity of symbolic communication that can touch our heart. Every individual is interested in transmission and communication of culture. A culture can never be created but cultivated because it is the continual trend of our traditional culture in existence. Every cultural being is evoked from the bed of the society as social elements, attachments and commitments are the principal recipe of culture. Culture is closely associated with the demand of the society. It is handed down from one generation to other with the undistorted theme of it. It also mitigates mental appetite. Culture transmits certain ideals and norms and the society accepts them without showing any reservation. It is well integrated and consistent too. Culture differs from society to society as soil of the society builds up culture and social elements shape up its nature. Adaptation of culture is also a factor to count because elements of culture migrate from one place to other for the interest of social want. This is called the admixture of culture in social need. So the concept of culture is well spread and is dependent on different society bound variables.

Though there exists a regular bonding with cultural elements, perversion in culture is now well felt and we are agonized out of it in deep trauma. Perversion of culture stands for culture misdirected and misinterpreted. It pollutes and spoils the ethical and moral values of culture. A culture never generates, by any truth, its own perversion as a way of bounced back action. Decomposing brain with a steady contamination of moral and ethical values by social malice originates perversion in culture. The blueprint of cultural degradation initiates from decomposing brain. Brain once decomposed because of the contamination of social meanness and narrowness always breeds such elements that grossly contradict the values of the main stream of culture.

Now the question is who is benefited out of the steady decomposition of human brain and cultural perversion. What is the interest of those forces trying every now and then to spoil our ethical and moral values? Who are the conspirators to play ducks and drakes with the social harmony out of intricately bonded culture accepting the changes in culture? Immaculately bonded culture fortifies smooth functioning of a society in absolute fervour and orderly manner.

A society on the track of decadence gives ample opportunity to the vested interest people to gain much non-virtuously from the bed of this contaminated society. They are very much inclined to exploit the society by plundering moral values and ethical composition. If the culture of a nation is destroyed the nation loses its way in the sand of dreary desert and as a matter of fact, the nation runs in recession subject to development and prosperity. It is enough to destroy a nation implanting cultural perversion in its own culture. The main stream of culture is upheld by a section of thoughtful men. So attack is coming down on those people, termed as opinion maker in renewal. Those who promote colonialism and imperialism are the main spokesmen of this unhealthy concept. Just as a fish cannot live without water, so a nation cannot survive with its cultural perversion. Blind imitation of a new culture does not create an isotope bonding with the cultural heritage in existence. On the other hand it promotes cultural perversion in total restlessness. In my consideration, there should no prejudice accepting the good elements of different cultures. But before doing that we should deeply ponder over the compatibility of that to our traditional culture. We ought not to pamper anything that acts as a catalyst poison to our own culture.

It is happening invariably in case of India. Indian traditional cultural is perilously endangered because of steady intrusion the elements of perverting culture in the main stream of our culture. Now the relevant question is what stands for human values and how does ii act on human life. It can be clarified in brief and crisply, human values and understanding glorify the identity and image of a man with ultimate shining. Truly speaking the best of touch of human values, sense and understanding liberalizes one’s mind to that extent where there is no berth for narrowness and meanness. Everybody will ratify it as a one point agenda that human values illuminate the inner glow of every individual with all versatile qualified elements.

But it is shocking to note, the human values and understanding that elevate a man to a mark-of-envy-to-others height are now undermined purportedly assigning definite objectivity. When we all nourish human values from our basic senses the shape of the society gets changed. Evil qualities, very much proactive to pollute the base level of the society itself, do not find a place to hide in a healthy society. Evil and unhealthy propensities grow better at the darkest corner of the society. So we should never allow our moral values and understanding to be contaminated in any way not for our own interest but for the interest of the nation as a whole. India is the brightest example of bottom-touching moral values. It is now infested with corruption and corruption invites all other vices to come under the same roof. That India is going down with a receding prosperity and development it is simply because of undermining of human values. As an Indian it is the duty of everyone of us to keep our moral values not being affected with perversion

Students train teachers

We are in the common and traditional understanding that teachers teach students and they hold the total responsibility of the faculty and intelligent quotient development of the students. Another aspect a teacher should learn by default if he wants to be identified as a good teacher. He should give up his own ego and sense of self-conceit. He is supposed to act as a learner. No medicine is as powerful as hope for a better tomorrow

We are all worried about our future as future is unsighted. We have seen the past and are the witness of present. As regards future every wants to remain noncommittal because of complete uncertainty. We learn from the past experience. We take the teachings of the past. But past episodes, if not very much striking, go out of our memory because the memory card of human brain is not so powerful to recollect all the episodes of past by synchronizing. Present on goings are the best output of the actions being taken day to day, thought or unthought. When we combat fast life in typical rat race calculation part may not be meticulous. Possibility of errors is not very much unlikely. When we are entangled with errors and omissions as a way of repetitions we lose the charm of life and time hangs heavy on us.

Any one of us can initiate a work enterprisingly for a successful completion. His Endeavour may be well appreciated. His dedication and sincerity may be a mark of envy to others. But the project of him remains in the pipeline because of some technical flaws. A man usually gets unnerved and morose when his missionary target remains unachieved despite his untiring effort. A man usually gets frustrated meeting with failure. It gets our spirit wet with an erosion of willpower. It is considered as a setback. A man cannot usually withstand the burn and sufferings of setback. He starts thinking what to do with receding energy next. He is then in search of a remedy to come out of the crisis.

There comes the tales of hope. Hope is to a greater extent acts as a panacea to any individual virally affected with the germs of failure. There runs a Paradoxical Truth. “What you have built in years together may collapse overnight like a house of cards; build up again from tomorrow morning.” The truth is encouraging and the viability of it can never be underscored with any formulated logic. But how can a devastated man fight: that is also a question not to be ignored under any sense. We believe that a drowning man catches up a straw for his survival. What would be that straw in case of a man completely shattered as the victim of circumstances out of failure? It is nothing but a glimpse of hope for betterment in the days to come.

When a man gets almost bankrupt, hope is the only living resort to fight back again refueling his spirit and energy to the best of his capacity. If a man gives in to his destiny he will be completely lost in the fray. None of us wants to survive as nonentity because it squeezes the fragrance of life. We don’t want to be a defeated soldier in the battle of life. Though hope is an abstract phenomenon the need of it is always well established. Fighting against destiny if anybody wants to bounce back in the struggle of life hope always plays there a pivotal role. Sometimes we go for hope against hope. It is the truth of life.

Considering all the aspects in details it can be concluded, no medicine is as powerful as hope for a better tomorrow. We should always sing the winning song of hope not sidelining the truth of reality.  

The address of immortality

Every human being seeks immortality. But literally it is impossible because man is mortal. Birth is not truth, but death is an absolute truth. So the question of immortality spins round the orbit of confusion and contradiction. The address of immortality is unknown to all of us. None wants to depart this beautiful world because of long earthly attachments developed during our life span little by little. We become so addicted to this attachments and the bonding of these is really hard to tear out. A little child does never want to be disassociated with his broken playthings, though being assured of new and attractive toys as a way of replacement. The reason is easily understandable. It is nothing but the attraction of long attachment. Replacement of everything in a life is a utopian concept. Just as this, no man wants to die with a venture to a journey to the world of eternal peace or rest. From the living world to the dead world, it is a one way journey. So we can imagine the beauty of the dead world with our imaginative skill, but none of us can explain it physically. For it as well we all long for immortality though we all acknowledge that we are all mortal.

But contradiction and debate focus somewhere else. What is the use of living long as an inert object? Can it ever be defined on the ground of utility? What is the identity of that life what fails to interpret the real values of life? These are all obviously not impertinent or baseless queries. These are all reason binding. Mere long lives can never the be all and end all of life. So it is no issue how long we are alive. It is the top priority issue how long we will remain alive even after our death and what is the basic recipe of doing such.

When we are in quest of the address of immortality we should always remember that we are supposed to leave an indelible scar in the world out of our good deeds. How can we justify good deeds? What is the parameter of good deeds? How can we remain alive generation after generation with no fade out glory? Immortality is not a commodity that can be purchased on demand. Outstanding  contribution of any individual for the well being the common people or notable contribution in different wings of life, culture or nothing in specific but in good sense turns him immortal even long after his death. His presence is well felt when we move along the track of his contributory field. Those immortal personalities are considered as the pathfinders. They have translated their dreams of concept and ideas into reality with ardent desire and rock-solid determination. When they work for the missionary target with visionary look they hardly conceptualize the sense and value of immorality. But they can hardly understand when their notable contribution brings them close to the immortality.

So the address of immortality can be known easily if one tries hard to leave an indelible impression with never-to-overrule contribution in the bed of the society. To work relentlessly for the well being of all is the only formula to be immortal. Anyone can survive long even after his death by dint of his noble deeds in serial. To achieve immortality is a long journey with no specific destination as such.                 

An icon of life in love and languishment

We rely on tradition. A tradition in continuity leaves a deep impression in our mind. Most of us are impressed with the tradition feelings and concepts. We have encountered a very few who sets up a new tradition breaking the fencing of conventional tradition. They are called the pathfinders. Their thinking, their mode of actions in life, their attitude to life, their understanding with the meaning of life is always marked with a striking difference. Their fields of work may be different, but they act with certain exceptions. Thus they are well acknowledged as men with a difference. Not that they do other things. They do the same thing but in a different way. Their undertaking to life is beyond the conventional customary. So we remember them ages after ages, generation after generation.

ADAITYA MALLABARMAN definitely belongs to this category. He was the personality to create something new what is to be accepted as the new outlet of creative spirit. In the field of literature he is dignifiedly to be taken into account as a rare talent. He expired only at the age of 37. A man, born very poorly and wounded bitterly in the struggle of life, established his outstanding supremacy in the field of literature with versatile touch of his writing skill. He had a posthumous recognition of his literary skill. But now he is the signing billboard in the domain of education and culture.

Born in an unknown fisherman community at village GOKARNA beside the river TITAS and about three miles away from BRAHMANBERIA (now in BANGLADESH), he was not reckoned initially with any identity as such. In the eyes of the upper caste Hindus they were degraded. Demolishing the doors of degradation on the ground to dust a man came up with a complete separate identity. He is none but Adaitya Mallabarman. After the expiry of her parents at an early age he was almost an orphan. He became grown up at the mercy of his neighbours. He was all along a brilliant student. He had to give up his studies because of abject poverty when he was a student of 1^st year in the college. Higher studies are a luxury to anyone else whose constant companion is infinite poverty. Naturally Adaitya Mallabarman came to Kolkata in search of bread and butter. Then it started a new life struggle.

River Titas left a significant mark in the life of him. His overwhelming passion with river Titas built up an enthralling intimacy with the river and the livelihood on the two banks of the river. The Tales of the struggle of the fisherman community there used to haunt him every now and then. In his every writing the heartrending pain of his close associates of the community he belonged to has come in turn time and again. He could never forget the pangs and sufferings of down cast communities. That is why any of his writings, whether that is a poem, an essay, a story or a novel has never been assessed as biased, unrealistic or imaginative. Every of his writing has touched with life where struggle very much exists.

Every of his write up was strikingly different. Poverty taught him how to deal with life with all human values remaining alive. The struggle of poverty stricken people has come up again and again in his different writings. He was engaged in editing in different literature magazines including “DESH” even. He was very much skilled in any work in the field of literature and culture. He was very much inspired by the novel “THE GOOD EARTH” by PEARL S BARK. This novel underwent a significant change in his life. The way PEARL S BARK depicted the struggle of Chinese people moved him very much. He deeply realized that literature is the correct reflection social life where imaginary part is less prioritized and literature is not the deceptive image of society.

“TITAS EKTI NADIR NAME” (The name of a river is Titas), published five years after his expiry, is his milestone novel. It signifies the crystal clarity picture of the life-struggle of fisherman community in love and languishment at his own village GOKARNA. This has been done in absolute softness and emotion, but reality is also very much vivid there. In this novel he has proved his novelty by converting it as an immortal creation. This particular novel approves that the adjudication of creation can never be estimated by quantity. Quality based a single creation is enough to justify the immortality of the creation without assigning any controversy or contradiction.

He used to invest inhuman labour for his creative writings. His relentless hard labour for the sake of creation in the field of literature was eroding the spirit of his life to survive steadily. He was realizing that the lamp his life might be extinguished at any moment. He was admitted in the Kanchrapara Hospital for the treatment of Tuber Clerisies. He escaped from the hospital at the call of creation despite he was forbidden to do that. He was firm in his decision without caring anything that contradicted the philosophy of his life. He took shelter in a small dark room to complete the manuscript of his milestone novel. The manuscript writing was ever, but he departed leaving all of us for taking permanent rest in the world of eternal rest and peace.

ADAITYA MALLABARMAN is no more. But literature loving readers all over the world will remember him as an uncompromising soldier in the field of literature and culture. The glory of the resplendent reflection of his creation will never fade out; on the contrary it will glitter more and more in bright illumination.                

Let me have my space to sit

I would like to sit somewhere else for a couple minutes. Because of long walking I am strikingly tired. I am in search of little space in calmness for long. I am in need of a shelter in a desolate space where I can talk to myself. But strangely I am yet to find that out. The earth is large enough. Yet I don’t have any little space even absolutely of my own. I am sincerely frustrated.

A travel-sore person walking long towards uncertainty aimlessly does not find a place to rest under a shaded shelter for a breather. Nature is my mother. I am not born as a freak of nature. I should have at least certain place to sit in isolation. It is not an unjustified or aspiring demand. I am not asking anything in excess. Everyone should admit it with no room to dispute. I don’t require permanent occupation of any space. Yet none is offering me any place to sit because of prior encroachment. I am not in a position to understand my fault or the reason of conspiracy against me.

I am a stoic. Complete passiveness I prefer. If I contradict I contradict with me only, none else. I would like to have a place to sit for the synchronization of my thinking as they are not well orchestrated. My pell-mell questions out of invariable thinking always seek answers from me. That is why I am to sit alone in search of the answers. I am committed to my conscience to give the reply to the best of my capacity. Otherwise my conscience will not spare me and treat me as guilty or escapist. I beg to differ with this unwanted conclusion.

I live alone. I want to live my within. I am trying to reach at the confluence of my discordant thinking for a purposeful reply. I don’t want to encounter the lamp of my life being extinguished while walking alone in the roads. I feel that I am the “PROMETHEUS UNBOUND.” I am the PHOENIX BIRD. I am originated from fire and I will be destroyed in fire. I am the artisan of shaping up dreams breaking dream after dream. I believe that the man who does not know how to see dreams can never show dreams to others.

I don’t belong to that category. I dream and hawk dreams too. Perhaps this is my offence not being able to find out a space to sit. I may be a drop out student from the institution of not thinking with a difference. I don’t want to drift away with blind conformity. But what is to be done? What is that to anybody if I don’t find a space to think? They don’t care of the subject matter of my thinking. If they do have any awareness of the foundation of my thinking question of encroachment of my space to sit may not arise.

At the outset none wants to give any recognition to those who think with an alignment to PRMETHEUS thinking. But recognition comes with repentance when PROMRTHEUS of today in numbers are gunned down in the false encounter of life. Then they get space. Shading profuse tears and with arranged ornamental words, none cares of the words coming out either from within or not, they prepare the altar of the martyr in order to pay homage (!). But they were not allowed to lend a space for their thinking with a difference so long they were alive just as me. When there stands no option but to allocate certain space for each and every one today or tomorrow even after their death we better lend certain space for their thinking when they are live as their thinking may give birth to new genesis of a separate trend.

Time is advancing with a rocket speed. Concept and ideas are also changing rapidly in conformity with the demand of time. Time is changing as the mandatory requisite of life. The changing world always seeks something new and innovative on the foundation of philosophical and ideological truth. He who can break can construct also. The thinking what aims at to break also plots how to construct. You didn’t give any space to me for the orientations and arranging of my thinking. This is a suicidal prejudice. This earth is not the domain of anyone in particular or a group of people. To turn this earth habitable for all is call of the day and time. The fire messengers of new thinking and new concept can only do this without citing any previous prejudice.

So let the new thinkers be given a space to sit. Greet them as the hawker of new dreams. Putting of the cloak of all knowing Please be heard their versions with patience and rationality. You have already occupied births as a token of your contribution or as a matter of chance (?), so you won’t spare any space for the next generation to come. This is not fare. Present generation is enough competent as they do fight every now and then for their own existence. Struggle has taught them much. They are well known of the colours of life. What is the sense of demeaning or belittle them. Welcome their footprints. Please do not treat them as intruders. What is the sense of decomposing their brain who are forerunners of new? Please give them a place to sit and exchange the thoughts and ideas with them. Better you be there where you were, but let the new generation give chance to sit with you on the same line because they can accelerate your motion breaking the static inertia. To have a denial to the new generation to come up is a crime. Those who deny the role of the future generation in the days to come they are not liberalized in mind. They are the conscious victim of narrowness and meanness.

Road does not belong to anyone in particular. This earth, this soil is for all. Those who do not find a little space to sit and think for conceptual changes today may be disheartened or discontented, but they should remember that tomorrow is theirs. The huge black stone of this vested interest, appearing apparently no to be removed from the way, is sure to topple down from the top of the hill with a resultant crash to dust. After that a little space will be given. Is there any legitimacy of it? Please better put of the cloak of knowing everything. There are still many things unknown to you and you are to learn this from the new generation. Where is the bottle neck giving the forerunners an opportunity to be suitably placed? There should be no question of prejudice, nepotism or favouritism. Better let this process be carried out with a liberalized look for a better tomorrow.                                

Every relationship is futile

Relationship is definitely to be promoted in every step of life aiming at to keep up the harmony of life. In case relationship by breached, it initiates the discontentment of life. Dreams break for the generation of new dreams. It’s an entertaining as well as exciting game to build new dreams breaking the existing one. Relationship equally remains alive in the midst of breaking and rebuilding. In the midst of tug and war of life no relationship lasts lifelong. Then why do we build up relationship? That is a question to note.

Loneliness is the curse of life. None can live in deep solitude forever. Loneliness is accepted at times for better synchronization of thinking lay scattered here and there in turns of life. But nobody is there to live in permanent solitude. We all rely upon interaction of thoughts and ideas. So we need company. There raises the question of promotion of relationship. Knowing it fully well that every relationship in particular is short-living we build up relationship as a rule of human Characteristic and philosophy. When a relationship breaks on flimsy ground; we feel a serious aching of discontentment in our mind. Yet we are to build up new relationship as a natural practice in order to defer loneliness what unnerves us.

Accepting the importance and exigency promoting the relationship building attitude learning of experiences interprets something reverse. It preaches us that every relationship is futile as it does not have any address of permanency. Debate and counter debate may run hot on the controversial statement. But every of such debate and counter debate reconciles at a particular point of futility. Question of ratification of the conclusion of the debate with all justifiability is sure to be raised by theoreticians or critics as they always want to verify every opinion being framed in the light of reality and verification is always appreciated.

At the very outset a question will come up how you justify the futility of relationship. Relationship is an abstract element as it does not have any particular shape. It does not have any definite focal length with a specific point of focusing. That is why it is yet to formulate the way of building up relationship for ever. So many ifs and buts queue up in the road of possibilities of inventing that very formula of building relationship for ever.

If we want to build up relationship at least two are required. The mental setup of ours differs obviously. It is science and human psychology endorses it. None of us is the isotope of others. Naturally difference is inevitable. It is by default a shortcoming to build up a permanent relationship. Besides this, relationship builds up on requisition. Emphasizing priority on requisitioned relation is also serious bottleneck to renew relationship for good. Interest based relation is no relation at all. It is sure to tear out a day. It is the truth and tragedy of life.

If we place the society under a scanner it will authenticate that the society, we belong to, is the painful victim of relationship being strained. We are to go further deep into the problem to find out the cause of it. In the world of consumerism everything has been taken up as a commodity, to be purchased or sold in terms of money. Relationship is also not exempted from this idea. Rule of profit is also deployed there. It is heartrending to note that the relationship between husband and wife, mother and son or daughter, brother and brother even is becoming tacit. The relationship between two friends without any gender discrimination is the lesser the better to talk of. The relationship treating as commodity element can never be an objective relationship. Give and take policy out of self-interest spoils the charm and beauty of relationship. Relationship matures on the foundation of mutual faith and reliance. But the flowers of these two abstract elements, faith and reliance, can seldom get a chance of full blossom in the soil narrow interest.

For that reason in particular the flavour of relationship is now receding. Very few are interested to search the true relationship. Needless to mention they are also not finding out the cloning of relationship compatible to their mental inclination, It is well understood now that clash of interest dilutes the properties of true relationship. It can be imagined, but in reality that is close to impossibility. It has been marked with an ignominy that a prolong relationship gets spoiled out of very simple clash of interest. Interest based relationship is no relationship at all because it violates the true spirit and ethics of relationship. Relationship is traded, relationship is denied. Adjustment is not relationship. So, every relationship in all considerations is futile indeed.                                                  

The future belongs to those who believe in beauty of their dreams

The basic recipe of success is to dream with optimism in tandem. A man who is reluctant to see dreams in ultimate positivity always defers the chances and opportunities of his success to a vacuum zone. To generate dreams not on the utopian foundation should be a habit of them who want to succeed in life overcoming so many ifs and buts, odds and eventualities of life. To dream and to translate that particular dream into reality in total dedication and sincerity separate a man with others because he can think with a difference and this is the key to success. Uncertain future bounces back to certain future because of enliven dreams to turn into reality with never-to-yield spirit. That is sure to be the perfect address of life of each and everyone longing for success with no compromise.

The allotropy of dreams is always accepted. Dreams come very close to our mind in different gestures when we are asleep in deep sleep. They appear before us with fantasy. They are the illusive reflection in our subconscious mind. Yet dreams do have obvious contribution to our life. When we are busy in working round the day with tight schedule different thinking come upon our mind as a flash, but the resultant output of those thinking remains unaccounted because of sparing no time as such for orderly synchronization. But they leave a faint scar on the plate of our subconscious mind. These faint scars are the source of our dreams without any enlistment of merits or demerits. Many of us are in the habit of dreaming as a routine. They ponder over their dreams and analyze those in their solitude.

It is true; dreams generate inspiration in our mind. Any success in dream motivates our active spirit and willpower to do that work completed successfully in reality. Besides this, it energizes us with constant refueling of inspiration. Dream doesn’t allow us to sit idle in casualness. It always haunts us every moment for the missionary work that we are entrusted to do to be completed without any lacuna. If we want to turn our dreams successful in reality we should have faith on the beauty our dreams endlessly. We are to rely upon on the understanding that the beauty of dreams beautifies our life with studded stars of success.

Now, it is the high valued question how one can beautify dreams. If an ordinary and simple dream, anyway assessed primarily of no high value importance, can be converted into a glittering dream of success provided it is beautified with our serial inputs of determined endeavour. We should learn the art of loving dreams. If we are not competent to beautify our dreams with sweetness of our mind those dreams will remain ever unachievable to us in terms to success. It can never be the one way agenda that dreams will try to beautify your life with pearls of success and you will underscore the beauty of your dreams. Mutual reliance, mutual faith, mutual understanding with dreams glorifies our future with unbound success in future. So, it can never be overruled that future belongs to those who believe in beauty of their dreams.                      

          

Breaking the monotony

Life is gradually becoming a mark of absolute monotony. Life devoid of rhythm and pleasure is a curse to all. Receding pleasure of life brings the pangs of life in total frustration. The utility of life spins round the ultimate pleasure of life as it does not allow monotony to land in anyone’s life. Fact remains, monotony in deep melancholy squeezes the spirit of life to absolute bankruptcy. A victim of monotony leads a life in deep mental upset. A mentally upset man can hardly translate his life in proper synchronization. Naturally everyone tries his best to come out from the clutches of monotony in order to enjoy the essence of life. We are always searching a comfortable place for a breather from mental dinginess. But the random flow of unwanted incidents in our day to life causes a deep wound in our mind with the resultant outcome endless monotony. To come out tearing the tentacles of situation bound monotony is not an easy game. So there is obviously certain amount of space for thinking and rethinking on reasons of monotony, turning our life gloomy.

Happiness and mental freshness are now very short-living because circumstantial need and demand regulate our life. As ill luck would have it; we all purchase happiness and peace in terms of exchange media. Happiness and mental solace are abstract qualities that generate out feelings, sentiments, and emotions. These two abstract elements are to be perceived in conformity with mental inclination. The purchased happiness renders us transitory relief. Actually happiness and mental peace are not commodity products. Permanent happiness are give and take product. As soon as this short-living happiness goes of melancholy gets in. Everyman in this world is now more or less the victim of monotony, underscoring our usual characteristics without any discontinuation. Now it is the pertinent question how we can get out from the clutches of monotony.

Nature provides us enormous elements to get rid of this crisis. Present fast life with so many adverse complexities does not allow us to breathe in a relaxed moment. Relaxation giving up our routine thoughts and activities can drive away monotony. Practically speaking we don’t have any time at our disposal to relax because earmarked list of working schedule hits the shore of our mind as rolling waves. Are we to believe then relaxing elements are bygone fact in our life.

We have forgotten to look at the sky with floating cloudlets moving in search of infinity or the stat studded clear sky at night that always unveils the unreachable mystery before us. When our mind floats with floating cloudlets at the call of unknown infinity or night sky allows us to enjoy the beauty of far sky it undoubtedly freshens our mind with remarkable pleasure that cracks the concrete wall of monotony. When blue firmament entices us to build up an enjoyable intimacy it is a monotony breaking pleasure yielding emotional happiness.  Visiting once in a fortnight or at best in a month to a country side where nature caters its elegant beauty in ultimate prodigality surely refreshes our mind with a mark of finest pleasure. After loitering round the day in countryside in quest of mental satiety; when we lie down on the bed of soft wavy grass it creates an astounding pleasure in our mind. We, the representatives of the so called civilized world, seek pleasure in artificial elements. But artificial pleasure generates monotony in tandem. Truly speaking to read a short story book in love and languishment at the end of the day renders us to come out from the grip of monotony if a bonding intimacy can be developed with the characters of the story book. Someone does something apart from his routine work out of hobby and it breaks the pillars of monotony. We are not devoid of monotony breaking ideas. Even a spell of little chitchat with different people round the day, recedes the intensity of engulfing monotony. But the present world does not lend us the least opportunity doing so out of abnormal pleasure for maintaining livelihood.

Monotony blended with melancholy eats away stealthily our fighting spirit. We hardly understand how our life gets misdirected under the attraction of insipidness out of monotony. Monotony is an incurable malignant disease not to be cured at all unless it is timely anticipated with remedial practice to be carried on with no suspension. To be absorbed in work with creative outlet is the best prescription to come out from the crisis out of monotony. We can never accommodate our life becoming colourless in this colourful world.                      

Terrorism – a social stigma

Terrorism of the day is a bloodbath. It customizes violent exposition of never yielding protest in loll flame of devilish propensities in ablaze against time-long grievances or deprivation. It is an act of vengeance against establishment, crashing law and order.

Terrorism in full fury sponsors a devastating and harmful effect in the mind of youth. Mental set up youth in general is in the spirit of uncompromising protest against injustice and unfair practices. They are privileged to crash immorality and illegality at the teeth of any opposition as a natural phenomenon. Terrorism capitalizes their spilling over courage and spirit in a conspired way.

The unwanted and unacceptable killings out of terrorism are really heartrending and it is definitely to be stalled at the worth of any.

Terrorism leaves an indelible mark of horror and trauma in the minds of peace-monger people. Common people are really afraid of in the panic of terrorism as it clamps a curfew in the roads of natural movement. In a terrorism-stricken area fear to ultimate fear reigns unchallenged.

Insurgence of brutality because of horrifying terrorist activities always incurs a strong disliking of the common people, always peace loving. None solicits deadly exchange bullets from fire arms or profuse bloodshed in the envelope of terrorism in rampage. Peace-keeping people flatly condemn “Terrorism” as it works for total extinction of civilization.

Terrorism breeds total anarchy and an act of anarchism can never sort out any problem as such at the point of gun. Violence begets further violence more piercingly to destruction. It is an effective wing of imperialism. So in front of the opened door of civilization there is no chance of terrorism to be cultivated in any way.   

Bonding between knowledge and character

An inquisitive mind always seeks qualified knowledge. It assists us a lot to define everything where reality where reality being a countable factor. Qualified knowledge signifies character building knowledge with marked philanthropy. A man may be well educated with a majestic versatility of knowledge. But we never take into account his level of knowledge as a granted one unless he holds a qualified unstained character. Education is the true character building system. True knowledge leads to growth and development of one’s character with no infirmity. It is always in the search of real truth. Though truth is changing with the change of circumstances, yet real truth what comes from within as the burning flame of conviction and faith is inconvertible. Character built knowledge lends us the best opportunity to find out that real truth in never-ending boldness.

Versatile knowledge teaches us how to shape up character in total perfection. If knowledge at any length fails to make rapport with character that is no knowledge at all. Before the reproduction of any biased opinion we should learn the objectivity of learning and education to acquire knowledge. Application of learning from knowledge into practice is the ultimate mission of everyone. One may be the large storehouse of knowledge. But he fails or reluctant to apply his achievements out of orientation of knowledge that is of no use. Knowledge never wants to be captivated. It always seeks to extend its boundary so that others running with scarcity of knowledge and wisdom can get benefit out of that. It is the fundamental philosophy. We all know that knowledge is intricately bonded with truth and thus it can be inferred with least hesitation that knowledge is truth and truth is knowledge.

If we go through the history of the world it comes to our awareness that the sphere of knowledge can hardly be extended without encountering stiff opposition. Analytical reason is very straight and simple. No back-pulling force out of ignorance allows knowledge to be extended because the helmsmen of ignorance get terrified under the notion that their lordship will go because of it permanently. Those who deal with vested interest for own benefit never welcome it if not compelled. “That the earth moves round the sun” was first told by Galileo on the basis of science-bound astronomical observation bur he had to undergo series of psychological assaults to death even from the clergymen of the churches and even captivated with showering threats. But he was bold in his character and was ready to accept any kind of punishment as he was committed to his conviction based on truth and ultimately he won in the tussle. So boldness in character is the mandatory output of knowledge in the true sense of the term.

History repeats itself. The age of Galileo still persists even today, but its form and dialect have been changed. The representatives of vested interest are now very much procative to strangle truth to death. The present socio-economic system is regularly generating social vices and malice that degenerate the human values and morality. The reasons of such generation are well known to us with no certification from counterfeit knowledge. Yet we are not in a position to challenge those forces responsible for generating social vices because of inadequate boldness in character. A section of elite people who deals in intelligence theorizes it as an inevitable part of life covering the misrepresenting philosophy in glittering paper. They are the enemies of civilization. These dual faces elites are dubious in nature. They represent those forces wanting in due deliberation to undermine our spirit very much prone to rise up to the occasion responding to natural reflex action.

We do have a bagful of knowledge at our disposal. In consideration to in time applications we run with bankruptcy because we don’t have the requisite courage to call spade a spade. It is to be taken into fact that we are not bold or firm in our approach. What is the value of that knowledge depositing infirmity in character in excess? To put up a never-to-give in fight against the social malice and diseases we are definitely to flex the muscles of our knowledge that builds up our character with the flavor of human rights, values and ethical senses where the role of boldness is always estimated in high esteem. The word boldness comes in repetition here as dearth of boldness in our character always haunts me in ultimate restlessness.     

Fairly tales of darkness

Darkness displays a specific beauty to be felt or perceived. It requires a visionary look to understand. When I look up at the night sky so many wonders come very close to me. Unreachable wonders as a way of personification talk with us imperceptible language. It seems distant stars, planets and other celestial bodies are very much eager to build up an intimacy with me. Twinkling little stars convey distinctive messages for me from a far away distance what I fail to understand because that very language is not translatable. The solar planets do have obviously want to communicate something formative, I don’t understand. Even the moon, the satellite of the earth, communicates every now then certain message with an extreme eagerness. So unfortunate I am that I can’t understand that but can simply imagine without any copy right of my own. Night sky transports me to a world of wonders and mysteries and there I am lost.

Nature in complete darkness is also mysterious and full of wonders. Everyone runs into complete hallucination at the time of looking at the nature at the darkest night. It appears that thronging mysterious wonders are coming very close to him with obvious messages. I am not exception to that. I am in the understanding that unearthly elements are trying desperately to set up a communication with me in never ending curiosity. Many of us are under the opinion that it is the reverse side of nature. They convincingly comment that the beauty of nature is well felt with crystal clarity in bright sunshine. I beg to differ with them. The beauty of nature behind a gauzy veil at night is equally responding to us provided we show our keenness to realize that. Mystic feelings in shadowiness come in and go out from my mind in a cyclic way. How strangely floating cloudlets in a night sky seek avidly my company! The silvery moonshine transcends me to a world of inexplicable beauty. Departed souls with phantom physique want to set up a intimate relation with me, but I can’t do that because of language problem. Yet I can’t overrule that to build up relationship is the highest degree virtuous element of life.

But this majesty of darkness is migrated to grief stricken zone when darkness in the bed of society reveals with indelible spots of stigma. The faces of non-piercing darkness of the society are strikingly painful. The appealing picture of fairy tales can never be drawn using the undermining colour of social darkness. Crisscrossing line of thinking with conceptual differences there may exist in the floor of society out of sharp analytical arguments and counter arguments. I don’t want to plunge into the crosscurrent stream of argument and counter argument. This is not my passiveness because it is now the time new orientation of thinking. Absolute silence gives certain room of thinking. Yet some questions come up in the baseline of my thinking.

Deadly clashes on different issues are now very common in regularity. Psychological wounds are more painful that physical wounds. The marks out of these deadly clashes leave an inexpugnable mark in my mind. I understand that psychological fights are relentlessly on in a class divided society. But when I experience lethal fights among the representatives of the same deprived and equally exploited class it raises many questions in my mind. Exploitation never changes it locus standi during exploitations the basic formula of exploitation remains always same. It is valid question to the elite social thinkers when the degree of exploitation of ours is measured in the same weighing balance is there any reason in pragmatism to fight between two fractions of the same class earmarked to be exploited. We always want to be united because unification is the main spirit of our existence. What is the sense of being divisional? It is the direct humiliation to moral values and ethical feelings. We are to trace out those forces or elements or persons always trying to make divisions among us with vested interest. If it is not done meticulously our consolidation will run at risk. Besides our total consolidation we can never reach to our destination i.e. a destination where disparities and differences in man to man of the have-nots class will be decimalized.

The capitalist forces are becoming consolidated on the question of exploitation and neo-colonialism. They are constantly developing their science and philosophy in the lying in room of imperialism. They are all united in their common objective though there stands sharp divisions among them. It is time to reconsider where the bottleneck is subject to all out unification of proletariats. They represent major section of the inhabitants of the world. Yet why are there so much diversify opinions? Keeping aside the conceptual and philosophical prejudices it is the call of time to strengthen the spirit of greater collaboration and greater unity. Social philosophers deal in man. They formulate certain philosophy and certain ideas, the line of action may be different, for emancipation of toiling labour class. They are obviously great so far as their philosophy is concerned. They did never plead for the rigidity of their philosophy with a question of amendment if time or situation demands to do that.

I am the supreme is the main disease of the day. It is ego problem. None is interested to adjust, keeping aside the cloak of all known. What is the benefit out of that? The ego spirit softens the soil greater collaboration or consolidation. Unity of working class force is the only agenda of the day for the emancipating society, we belong to. Those who are the frontline spokesmen on the issue of the society to be changed for the greater cause of  emancipation of toiling mass from the grip of endless exploitation.

Dawn is inevitable truth after the darkest night. As a rule of nature night is not ever lasting. Naturally darkness is definitely to disperse. It is simply a time factor. The darkness of the society apparently revealing not to be dispersed is a false notion. As darkness is short living and light is inevitability: fairy tales of darkness in society in the lining rising sunlight must be composed a day in ultimate glory provided we can come out from the trap of ifs and buts of life. We should always take into account toiling mass is the helmsman of our furue.           

Best of breed

National integration & our India

National integration is the crying need of the time. The need of it is well felt in the soil of India as disintegrative forces are very much proactive in India and it is the perpendicular threat to split the nation into small fragments. “Unity in Diversity” is the basic theme Of Indian solidarity. Our India is a multi racial, multi lingual, multi religion and multi community country. Differences in cultural tradition and heritage are the very natural inevitability. Yet India was so long united intricately. India presents a remarkable variety of people with different ways of liking and disliking. But now the problem of national integration has overshadowed our thinking of unification. As constitutionally pledged after independence, India is a secular, democratic and republican country. It envisages equal rights to enjoy to all the citizens, no matter what the difference is. Concept of secularism and democracy can never be challenged in India and if that is contested in any way that is a punishable offence in the eye of law. But it is an irony to note that conspired as well as the heinous activities to destabilize the integrity and sovereignty of India are constantly mushrooming in every pocket of India and we, the peace-monger countrymen of India, are getting terrified subject to the unity and solidarity of the nation. India united and India divided into parts will not be the same reflection to accept or accommodate in passiveness as a citizen of free India.

Neither the national character nor the national policy has been well formulated with national feelings since independence in India. It is painful to note that even after six decades have passed we are threatened with our national integration and sovereignty being threatened. Forgetting the cultural heritage of our country, forgetting the main stream of our culture we are fighting with each other on the ground of flimsy interest and sense of brotherhood is steadily eliminating there. Issues are constantly being cooked in the kitchen of disintegrative forces for our national integration to stand before a big question mark.

Frankly speaking; communalism, racial discrimination, religious fundamentalism, separatist trends, terrorism, sabotage activities coupled with many other allied vices are the different wings of national disintegration enfeebling the unity and solidarity of India in wider senses. Social and political disparities have created problems of disruption and disintegration. Sometimes it comes in our mind that national disunity is regardless the well thought political calculation for gaining cheap and narrow political advantages. The gross disparity of fiscal and social status holds the responsibility of divisive thinking to promote. An exposition of grievances of the larger section of the common people being deprived and exploited is not an offence. A long chained agitation to acknowledge their grievances is also natural. Poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, population explosion will very much exist and movements will not be launched as a token of protest; it is a greater contradiction. But, if those movements are wrongly channelized in the form of the onslaught of national disintegration those are crime.

Economic inequalities also fuel the national disintegration extravagantly because no section of people wants to be economically deprived what leads them to the field of endless humiliation. Naturally people of those communities want to revolt out of class-consciousness. Why do they agree upon that maximum share of our national capital vis-à-vis income will be enjoyed by minimum representation of countrymen? Why do they not earn according to their need? How long would they remain in the status of economically deprived? These questions can never be ruled out because they do have merits and relevancy and they are definitely to be answered, failing which violent disintegrative movements will come in renewal and those will break the unity and solidarity of the nation itself.

Anti-national and disruptive forces were always at work throughout the history of India. But that history of ignominy can never be allowed to repeat with its sharp teeth being opened to tear our existence in India. We must have to terminate it from the root. The country must be saved from being split into parts. Without national unity a nation can hardly develop and achieve prosperity. It’s a precondition to protect unity and solidarity at the very outset and then to think of development and prosperity. The government should ponder over the disintegrative issues deeply and to find out the roots of them. Concrete discussions with the stewards of the disintegrative forces in a liberalized visionary look can easily decimalize the problem with a golden solution. National disintegration should never allowed to be on the rife because we don’t want see India being divided further for our myopic vision to save India.   

Advantages of being literate

IDEAS RULE THE WORLD, KNOWLEDGE BEGETS CONCEPTUAL IDEAS AND EDUCATION IMPARTS KNOWLEDGE. It is the phenomenon accepted universally without raising any question. Knowledge is super power. Everybody wants to be somebody a day avoiding the back-pulling attractions of nobody. Success paves its way to further glorified success on flexing the muscles of knowledge. Success is always deferred if knowledge is fastened with poor education. There exhibits the absolute importance of being a literate one in the true sense of the term.

Success of literacy is always unchallenged. A literate person steadily advances in the domain of knowledge and a knowledgeable person can touch the rope of success with no room for dispute. A qualified knowledge does have a universal acceptance. We have come across episodes and experiences of great and eminent personalities in the pages of history. To have an eye on their lives in close observations It affirms that knowledge has played pivotal behind their every inch of success. So come skill, aptitude and win-win spirit one by one to turn the success well fortified. Literacy to education and education to knowledge are the two primary steps acceded unanimously with an inference that success is a journey not a destination.

We being a social animal do have a distinctive social commitment with all conventional social code of conducts to be carried out towards the formation of a better society. The more the days are rolling on in the midst of complex and unprecedented encountering of unthinkable situations, the more the complexity of life is on the rife as our society is now polluted with social malice and vices. Society suffers from an eroding sense of values and morality, now factually bottom touching. Thus the prosperity and development of a society is alarmingly under recession. In absence of moral and ethical values the main stream of social science loses its way in the dreary desert of untidiness. It is only a perfectly literate person can protect a society from absolute decadence by flexing the stamina and power of his in-depth knowledge.

A literate person can only analyze the causes behind the fathomless social decadence. Social vices and ills are now sugarcoated. They have already sent their roots deep into the bed of society. It is an exigent task to form a vehement mass awareness against degenerating social malice and to put up a strong fight against those vices is now our missionary task coupled with stormy agitations if needed.

A literate person holding the torch light of knowledge aloft can only impart education to the backward classes with robust optimism of knowledge. Passiveness of negativity vanishes before his upright spirit. So literacy pays a dividend at a premium price. I hail from India. I am proud to be an Indian. Besides rich cultural heritage in the midst of so many diversities India is shockingly Illiteracy stricken and poverty stricken too. The country is lagging behind in an abysmal state. Corruption, religious fundamentalism, communalism, racial discriminations resulting to deadly clashes, terrorism, exploitation, criminalization in politics and so many as such  are all the burning vices that pull back the nation from metropolis to necropolis. India is now almost placed at the nucleus nihilism with no visionary optimism at sight in near future. This is an indelible stigma to the glory of India. Growing illiteracy in momentum holds chiefly the responsibility of our lagging behind. As soon as the literacy rate of India will grow up in India the clouds of our discontentment start dispersing of. Poverty and illiteracy are directly proportional to each other. If poverty exists in India well anchored the rate of literacy will go in decimalization.

Hence, to protect our society from the clutches of gross erosion to total ruining it is an outright conclusion we must have to raise mass awareness on the usefulness and advantages of being literate, failing which the country will suffer miserably. So, education for all is top priority slogan of the day.
