I am, as if, a casual tramp aimlessly moving in the labyrinth of
life. Known roads, unknown roads, roads with unforeseen dangers, no light roads
in non-piercing darkness – still a casual tramp I am, walking not known why in
the roads of life. Scorching heat, raining in torrents, biting cold cannot
suspend my walking. Many a time I have thought the reason of my walking and the
only answer I have received, roads are still giving company to you in blind
faith. How strangely the friendship with roads goes for a renewal with no
limitation of time as such. Now I am almost a setting sun. If I lend my ears I
hear the footsteps of the termination of the journey of my life. None is
interested to tax his brain on the permanent departure of a casual tramp
aimlessly moving on the road. But roads do not give me approval to quit this
world. They rebel with a simple saying; we have built up an inseparable bond of
friendship with you. You came down on the road a day under the attraction of
road. Figures are steadily receding who love roads to walk. Very restless time
is now. Coming down on the roads we are to learn the language of the road. May
the road be unknown, desolate or deserted, but it is the responsibility of the
road by characteristic to have commonness with us. Road is the only road now.
It is road which will tell us where to go for our mission being completed in
concreteness.
I am a confirmed casual tramp. Nomadic life is my natural
instinct. Life is a continuous journey to me. I care a very little for the good
or bad of life. The existence of those in my life is just like a water-line.
While spinning round in the labyrinth of life by walking roads after roads they
have tutored me that good or bad in life is an apparent feeling. Nothing is
absolute good or absolute bad to anybody else because good or bad changes locus
with changing circumstances regulated from outside sources. If anyone wants to
learn he must have to come down on roads as a way of compulsion. While moving
on roads one is to identify what is good or bad, what is white or black and the
yardstick of it is at the disposal of roads. Sometimes I get tired of long walking;
yet suspension of walking never peeps in mind. I have a firm conviction and
that is learnt from the experiences of prolong walking that roads never play
hoax with us, never gives bluff to us because in the walking of life road is
the fundamental truth and the teaching of it must be accepted as an axiomatic
truth because this truth-based learning never misguides us as an act of
treachery.
Being a nomadic one I know, I will go for an eternal sleep on
the road. I hardly long for any safe shelter because I am well aware that I
don’t have any definite address. None ever asks me about it. If I would have
been ever asked my reply would be very simple. “Moving roads are my address” I
would have to reply. Roads have shown me the face of agitation on specific
issue. I have also seen the huge silent rally against social injustice or moral
turpitude. I have witnessed a big rally against war and in favour of permanent
peace on roads. I have experienced the inseparable bond of all human being
without any discrimination of cast or creed on roads. If anyone is interested
to learn the meaning of life he must have to maintain lifetime friendship with
roads.
Life is truly a mysterious labyrinth. We are all strangers in
the interplay of light and shadow of this labyrinth. We don’t know each other.
Who is going to take the responsibility to make us known? None but it is
bohemianism what compels one to come down on the roads. So I am a casual tramp
in the labyrinth of life where roads always play a significant role in enough
vibrancy. Roads are not the domain of anyone in particular. If anybody or any
ill motive force wants the sole proprietorship of all the roads with an
unauthorized encroachment this unidentified casual tramp is sure to organize a
silent but very much possessive rally crossing roads after roads till I breathe
last and roads will help me prodigally to have a missionary success of it and
you also can’t avoid this call because who does not want to know the
roads?
